Some moments from my adventures this evening in baking chocolate chip cookies for the Cultural Fair.
Couldn’t find brown sugar, but some mallet-ground raw sugar and honey worked reasonably well as a stand-in.
The cookie dough, looking lumpy (I got the sugar as fine as I could…) but tasting great.
DYI chocolate chips (this was early days, they got chopped way more finely than this!).
The oven was sans light, gas-powered, and in the garage. Not ideal. But good enough!
