The Sinan Pasha mosque in the city of Prizren is one of my go-to walk-by locations every time I’m there. Prizren is the closest “big” city to me (by bus, anyway… technically I think Gjakova is closer but it takes two buses to get there and it’s a hassle) so I’m in and out almost every week and although I don’t usually go inside or spend time in its lovely courtyard I always try to make time to walk down the streets that border it because it’s such a lovely building.
The mosque is from the 1600’s. It was built by the Ottomans. Its character really defines the old town of Prizren, I think.
