Manners maketh the man, a lesson some Kosovar children are apt to forget. Although honestly, what country’s children don’t forget that one from time to time?

In any case, these signs posted on one of my seventh grade’s classroom seem like a good reminder. Going clockwise from the top left they say, “Please!”, “Excuse me/Sorry!”, “Go ahead/How can I help!” (roughly, I’m not sure that “Urdhëroni” has a direct translation to English) and “Thank you!”

Today we did a bunch of lessons about Thanksgiving that were met with varying levels of interest. More on that later.

Also of note: the fog in my town is OUT of control today. As of writing this post (1 PM) it is only slightly less foggy than it was at the time of taking that photo, around 10 AM.
